Nostalgy

These days, nostalgy is killing me.

I listen to many music from the ex-Yugoslav republics... Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia...

I love their humor, their way of thinking... Its a place where I really belong.
Let me show show you their way of thinking with few AWESOME songs... mainly about USA, which actually is not for against it... its their way of sayin', "Who cares for money and riches when I can have a good cup of Coffee with a friend even if bomb are falling." :)

Rastafari-Core band...

1989. New years eve... I know it was part of the Yugo-Propaganda... but look at those people... singing being happy and content with the Yugoslav way of living (which in the 80's was VERY GOOD)...

Today this song in the balkans is the song EVERY familiy sings... why? Almost every family from the Ex-Yugoslav territories have someone on the west... England, Germany, Sweden, Canada, Amaerica, Australia... that is why this is almost like an anthem... the lyrics go something like this:

"Why should I go to America? What could I do with the gold that shines?
What could I do with your picture when our kid has no father from now on??"

I hope you like my little time and space travel... I might do some more... :)

I wanna be like Kyle Eckhart

Kyle Eckhart did a 20K today.

I am proud of that guy. He has always been a guy with great endurance. He never gives up. Great example!

We made an agreement. September 2012 we will run the the Sarajevo half marathon.

Kyle, I am letting you know. We will do it.

I am 10 kg and 10K behind you... but September is 9 months away!

If my knee does not stops me, we will run it together!

Here is an average path I do... sometimes 6K sometimes 8K or 10K as my knee lets me... But I am slowly but surely pushing it up...pressing and pressing.

6k

So Sarajevo here we come. With a Hungarian flag! :)

Greetings to all my friends... you are greatly missed. I hope to write in 2012 more often!

Happy birthday, my first “little girl”.

The night you have arrived was a miracle. I will never forget it.

Just as every day with you is a surprise.
GOD HAS GIVEN YOU AN AMAZING HEART!

I LOVE YOU LEA!

more like... back

Its one of those moments/days…

I don’t know… We were on the road as planned as we think GOD has lead…

but then Petra’s sickness turned us back. Instead of visiting dear friends in Bosnia… back to Budapest.

So all that is left is a GOOD GOD, and the trust that HE KNOWS.

Now I don’t get it.

I will keep asking…

Laci who disagrees at the moment.

There and back again.

I LOVE THE BALKANS. Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Serbia… name it, I love it. I am blessed to go and visit, dear friends these next few days. I look forward to Burekdzinica Bosna, drink the dark Sarajevsko Pivo… laugh and cry, pray over Sarajevo. Rest and get tired. Whatever GOD has in HIS plan!

I am going to one of my top 3 cities in this World.
This video gives me goosebumps every time I see it.

The city has a vibe, a spirit. Just as those who live there. They are special to GOD.

Those whom we are visiting, are in the spiritual trenches. Giving their lives in fixing it!
I am proud of them and of their call and fight!

Please follow me in praying for them, the work GOD is doing through them.

Nema dana bez VUKOVARA :)

Dragi moji (this post will be only in croatian)

Ne znam hoce li itko ovo citati od onih koji nas poznaju, ali moram da ispisem ovo iz sebe.

Tesko nama bez Vukovara.

Amen?

Laci, Keri, Lea, Lotti, i Petra

Shabbath

I got reminded of a joke from the 80’s.
“Visit the U.S.S.R. or it will visit you”
How it came to mind?
Lately I am getting more and more faithull to keep my day off, “keep the Shabbath”.
Before if I was not faithful in resting, GOD would find his way arround my stubernness and make me rest!
So an advise for you dear reader:
Keep the Sabbath or GOD will make you keep it!
:)

I love the ministry towards the pimps and prostitutes.
Simple and anointed.

I had the best, deepest and longest talk with the pimps last night. After 40 minutes of honest talk, 2 of them asked for prayer. THEY ASKED US TO GO BACK!!!

I love it, when GOD opens a door! IT IS WIDE OPENED! :)

first

Ok, so… its all because of Jeremy. :)

Well. its not true. besides the fact that I love that guy. I love many of you. I love GOD, and since writing is one of the Spiritual disciplines… I must write.

Even if, I say I am super busy, ministry, kids, big city.

Tumblr seems like a good form to post.

I got a blackberry, and now I can write, while on the Subway, tram, staying in line.

Expect, short, but meaningful posts from the bottom of the heart, GOD has put in me!!! :)

I look forward to the challenge!
